The Colts shoulda kept Peyton and a white guy maybe the NBA MVP, oh lawd

What if the Colts decided to keep Peyton Manning. 1st of all Peyton would require that the Colts trade the #1 overall draft pick and the Colts would likely require Peyton to restructure his deal. That's only fair for this hypothesis. You think, why would the Colts do that, they are in full rebuilding mode with tons of holes on their team. Peyton alone couldn't make them contenders. To which I say "ha, ha, whoa, whoa, slow your roll boo" (and trust me I say it just like that). The Bears traded for Jay Cutler a couple of years ago and had to send 2 1st round draft picks, a 3rd rounder and their #1 quarterback for Cutler and a 5th rounder. The Colts get probably get twice the value of that for the rights to Andrew Luck. These picks would allow them to replenish their depleted ranks and even with the loss of Reggie Wayne they still have enough weapons to surround one of the all time great field generals in the history of the NFL. Is there risk in this? fo' sho' boo, Manning could not fully come back to his normal great self or worse get re-injured 5 games into the season but still the Colts would have greatly improved their team depth at the very least.

Speaking of risk, what if Andrew Luck turns out to be mediocre at best, and Manning goes on to turn out 5 more magical years...Dammmnnn. That's almost unrecoverable, think about how long the Bulls took to recover when they forced their dynasty to fall apart cause they were so quick to rebuild. (10 years son) Let's consider the pressure of Andrew Luck, he not only is tagged to be the savior of the franchise with the pressure of being the #1 pick but he now has the weight of replacing Peyton Manning, arguably the top 5 greatest QB's to ever play. Not to mention there's Robert Griffith the 3rd aka RGIII who some think, me included, that he has a chance to be as good if not better than Luck. So now he gets compared to Manning and also RG3, pressure cooker is an understatement. Thin Ryan Leaf, but do not think Steve Young. Young had already shown that he was ready to take over the 49ers which made it easier to get rid of Joe Montana. All I'm saying is that's some awful but very plausible scenarios for Andrew and to that I say good LUCK! (That's word play))

Kevin Love 25.5 ppg 13.8 rpg
Don't look now but Kevin Love is making a serious run at MVP. He has taken the yearly down-trodden T-Wolves into an 8th place playoff seed and they are getting better. He's clearly the best power foward in the game and even though he shoots the 3 he still does the dirty work, hence his almost 14 rebounds per game. I got him number 5 on my list just slightly behind Dwight Howard, (3) Kevin Durant, (2) Tony Parker, (1) Lebron James.

I know people may think I'm on something, and Lebron is having an off the charts season, but the best player in the league is Dwight Howard. He is keeping that team above competitive, even though he is surrounded by mediocre talent. I know his offensive game is limited but so what he still averages 21 pts a game and forces double teams. I also agree that his ft pct. is a liability at 50%. Just cause he has room to grow dosen't mean he can't be the best. That being said he's a monster defensively AND grabs 15 boards a game. If you paired him with another star player they would run shit boo, that's on the fo' real.

Kobe Bryant is shooting the Lakers out of contention and I gotta say, I love it. The Masked Mamba at some point has to realize he has 2 legit scoring options that shoot over 50% in Pau Gasol and Andrew Bynum and his 43% shooting won't get them out of the second round. Lebron take the shot for god's sakes man shoot it, that's all I have to say about that. Oh man Tiger Woods don't play with my emotions like that. A round of 62 on sunday, word! Come back Tiger we need you. Til next week peeps,

Dueces!!
